In a small village surrounded by golden fields and tall mountains, there was a little boy named Zaid who loved to visit the village garden. The garden was known as The Garden of Peace, and it was filled with blooming flowers, chirping birds, and a gentle stream that sparkled under the sun.
But one day, when Zaid visited the garden, he noticed something was different. The birds weren’t singing, the flowers drooped sadly, and the stream seemed to flow slower than usual. Zaid sat by the stream, feeling worried. “What happened to our garden?” he whispered.
Just then, an old woman named Auntie Layla appeared. She was the caretaker of the garden, and her smile was as warm as the sun. “The garden is missing something, Zaid,” she said gently.
“What is it missing?” Zaid asked, his eyes wide with concern.
“It’s missing peace,” Auntie Layla said. “Lately, people have been arguing in the garden, stepping on flowers, and scaring the birds. When peace disappears, even the most beautiful places can lose their charm.”
Zaid thought about what Auntie Layla said. “How can we bring peace back?”
Auntie Layla smiled. “We can remember As-Salam, The Source of Peace. Allah is the one who gives us peace in our hearts and in the world around us. When we act kindly, speak gently, and take care of Allah’s creations, we bring peace wherever we go.”
Zaid nodded, determined. The next day, he gathered his friends and told them about the garden. “Let’s be like As-Salam and bring peace back! We can speak softly, help each other, and make sure the garden stays beautiful.”
Together, the children worked hard. They picked up litter, watered the flowers, and fed the birds. When a disagreement arose, they paused and said, “Let’s make peace, like As-Salam.” Slowly, the garden began to glow again. The birds sang, the flowers stood tall, and the stream sparkled as if smiling.
That night, as Zaid lay in bed, he whispered, “Ya As-Salam, thank You for teaching me the beauty of peace. Help me always bring peace to my heart and the world around me.”
And with that, Zaid drifted off to sleep, dreaming of a world filled with the peace of As-Salam.
